I have transferred self and local edits to another class by breaking up the writing that I am editing into local and global edits so that its not overwhelming to work on. I had to write a paper on my sociological imagination for my sociology class and when I finished writing my paper I had a classmate look over it and make sure that I was covering everything that had to be met in the essay which goes under the global edit. After that I had the classmate reread it and fix the grammar and punctuation of my essay which goes under the local edit. overall that really helped me to clean up my essay.
