Before Starting English 110, I was familiar to MLA format but the majority of the time I used easybib to make my citations. I now know that it’s not that accurate when it comes to the right format. The little seagull book helped me to understand the MLA format. In the beginning, I learned that my sentence spacing was off with the MLA format and I didn’t indent. I also didn’t know that the citations need to be in alphabetical order going by the authors last name. In my globalization essay I learned that if there are two authors that wrote the article, you keep the first author first instead of putting the two authors in alphabetical order. With Charles Duhigg and David Barboza, you would generally but David Barboza first but in the piece of work, Charles Duhigg goes first so we have to respect that and put his name first for the alphabetical format for each of the citations. overall it has helped me to format my MLA format correctly. Here is an attachment to the globalization essay. My works cited is on page 6.
